PETER JENSEN (DK)
Peter Jensen is a Danish born, London-based designer. He has trained in various fields, including embroidery and graphic design, and graduated from Central St Martin's in Fashion Design Menswear in 1999. Two years later, following the success of his menswear collections, Jensen also began to design a womenswear collection.
A single muse provides the inspiration for each of Jensen’s collections. Past choices have included Sissy Spacek, Mink Stole, Helena Rubenstein, Tonya Harding and Jodie Foster.
Jensen's designs are quirky and charming, playing with prints, colors and proportions and often include references to American pop culture and art. |
